While he was growing up, he had no interest in becoming a singer until one day his teacher from Gobindgarh College, where Jassi went for his education, became aware of his singing talent that’s when he chose music as one of his practical subjects in order improve marks at college.
He was encouraged and trained by his teacher; he was made to participate in the local youth festivals, where he secured the second position for four consecutive years.
He rose to local fame. In the year 2011, Jassi Gill came out with his debut album Bachmate, which gave him immediate success especially due to his sensational song “Chudiyan”, the song became an overnight hit and won the hearts of many people.
